5 star DL Montravius Adams 6' 3" 290lbs of Vienna, GA visited Clemson Saturday for the Battle of the Palmetto State. He confirmed that he remains interested in the Tigers and USC. "It was a good game for South Carolina but not so much for Clemson," Adams said. "I still like (Clemson). They played hard." As for USC he said, "I tried to talk to Jadeveon Clowney after the game but he I couldn't find him. I like the Gamecocks too." Adams plans to announce his top five following his season. "We're still playing right now but it'll probably be a couple of days after the season ends," he said. He has not named a leader.

5 star DL Montravius Adams 6' 3" 290lbs of Vienna, GA expects to hold true to his plan to announce his top five following the season. His team plays for the state championship Saturday. "I'll probably name them a couple of days after that," said Adams. He is still not ready to reveal any of the schools but says Georgia and Clemson continue to show a lot of interest. On Clemson he said, "I still like them. I just talked to them the other day." Asked if he planned to visit the Tigers, he simply said, "I don't know yet." Auburn has been another school highly involved with Adams but now has a new coaching staff in place. Adams did not rule them out. "I'll have to meet the new staff first before I comment," he said. USC has been in contact with him in the last two weeks as well. "I spoke with coach (Kirk) Botkin," said Adams. He says he likes the Gamecocks but is not sure that he will visit the campus. Adams did not name a leader.

Now, Adams is ready to focus his attention on the next step in his recruiting, and that's deciding on his five official visits. "I two to three days I'll have my top five," Adams said Monday afternoon. "Clemson probably will be in there." Adams said he will schedule his official visits with those five schools. Monday Adams took phone calls from North Carolina, Auburn and Ole Miss. He will wait until Signing Day to make his announcement.

Adams sets four of his official visits

5 star 6'3" 290lbs DL Montravious Adams of Vienna, GA today, thru his coach, revealed four of the official visits he plans to take in January. Adams will go to Florida on January 6th after playing in the Under Armour Game, Clemson on January 11th, Alabama on January 18th and Georgia on January 25th. He's undecided about his fifth official visit at this point. Ole Miss, North Carolina and Auburn are three schools he’s considering for that final visit.
