This is a young team only in being under new leadership. If you look at the depth chart though, the vast majority of our starters are experienced upperclassmen. I hope that will end up serving us well this season.

 
I also really like the dimension Luke brings with his running. Forces the defense to maybe not pin their ears back as often because he pops through the hole, he is gone.

 
Since Doty was named the starter prior to his injury, I think he should start if he's fully healthy.  I don't think he should lose his spot due to an injury, but if he's not 100% Zeb should start.  I feel comfortable with either starting though.  Nice problem to have.

 
I also would *NOT* want to make Luke's first start be against that Georgia defense.

 
We so used to inexperienced QBs getting thrown into the fire because of poor coaching, that maybe we can't comprehend a more stable system under better coaches that allows a QB to ramp up and learn with experience to improve as a player.

I think we're going to see a system this year that works and allows both Doty and Noland to get PT and improve as needed, no matter who gets the nod to start each week.

Shaw and Thompson had a healthy competition that made both of them better players in the long run.

Shane had a fair amount of success with integrating transfer QBs at Oklahoma and I am certain that is what we will see here.

 
Who starts this week for GA.  IF Doty is 100%+ why not start Noland.  2 games under his belt.  If he struggles put Doty in early, 2nd half sometime.  Doty started against GA last year right.  Lot of options here.  Can't wait to see how this and the OL play out.  Glad I'm not CSB.

 
Gonna need someone that can move against UGA's defense so that means Luke.  The Zeb story is a good one but he doesn't have the wheels.

Ha, summed up well. If our OLine doesn’t drastically improve we need someone mobile.
