Just when we had the opportunity to get back in the game, Thompson threw an inexcusable interception. Seriously, 3rd and short yardage - I like the call to throw it downfield in that situation - but Dylan should have understood with crystal clarity that by no means do you put the ball in jeopardy right there. I absolutely wish Spurrier had yanked him off the field and banished him to the end of the bench. If that is the kind of leadership he is going to give us, go with Connor Mitch and get him ready to lead us next season. There is absolutely no scenario in which I could forgive a 5th year senior QB a peewee league mistake in a crucial situation like that. Very disappointing.
