I have been a supporter of Frank since he got the job at USC. I had hoped that the Final Four run would be the start of an era of success for USC basketball. I had wanted that for a long time, but never got it. Frank is now in year ten on the job at USC. I think its only fair to see how the season plays out, even though I am VERY discouraged after the first three SEC games. We have suffered two lopsided losses and squeeked out one narrow win. We have turned the ball over 65 times in those first three games. We are near the bottom of division one college basketball in turnovers and fouls committed. Just a few teams worse than us in those things. And we are by far the worst team in the SEC in those categories. Three games and no sign of any improvement in turnovers and fouls committed. In my opinion, there isn't an SEC caliber point guard on this team.
Year ten and we are still waiting and hoping for a teams that can compete for an NCAA tournament bid even every two or three years. We'll see how the rest of the season goes, but if we don't win at least half of our regular season SEC games, I think its time to replace Frank and give another coach a chance to see what they can do.
