I believe we will bounce back and beat the Gators this weekend at the CLA and keep moving forward.

@kingofnerf, it's interesting to see these standings, isn't it.  We win our next game, and Miss. St, Tenn, and Bama lose...we're in a 4 way tie for 5th overall in the SEC, and two way tie for 4th in the conference (w/ Miss. St).  Yes, the beatdown at Tennessee was ugly... but it was a great defensive effort overall.. just wasn't a PRETTY effort on either side of the court.  The turnovers are something that continue to plague us, and I've said it many times before... I don't like the way our bigs are being coached right now.  Overall, though, I don't see that the "gloom and doom" over Frank's current team is warranted.

Glad to see that folks like @Gary@Swayin and a few others are a little less hot under the collar after the UT loss.  Get consistency from Stevens, continued growth from Reece, let AJ play some ball without injury, and solid play from at least two bigs and we've got a pretty decent look for the rest of the year.  I don't know if Cousinard or Keyshawn will step up to the plate and lead like they are capable as elder statesmen, but there are others who can step into that void (Stevens and Reece come to mind).

Lets see how the season plays out in the next 2-3 games (for not only us, but for some of the league's top teams).  That will go a long way in telling us whether we have something special, or if the CFM ride is coming to an end.

I suffer with every loss.  And rejoice with every win.    None of us can predict what is going to happen with this season.  If we can fix a few of our problems, there are wins to be had the rest of the way.  I wouldn't give us much  of a chance at Auburn in the last game, but if we can improve some, we can get into the top half of the SEC.   I believe 10-8 in the regular season would put us in consideration for the NCAAT, given the strength of the SEC.

It's a 1:00 pm tip-off Saturday, so there should be a decent crowd before the wintry stuff moves in.  Freezing rain/snow is predicted and the temps the next few days after that will low enough to keep it from melting.

Hopefully we get the win against the Gators.

I didn't feel good Saturday, so I napped through the UF game.

We can't beat a team like the Gators until we get consistently better as a team, but I believe we can still get to 20 wins if/when that happens if it happens soon enough.

The team got enough wins in 2016-17 to make it to the NCAAT where we beat coaches who weren't used to playing against Frank's system.  That's really all we have to do every season most of the time.

Frank's bugaboo has been that he can't find a way to keep the team competitive and/or improve it throughout the regular season.

Whether that changes or not, it's still too early to throw in the towel on the season for a team with fundamentally new players on it this season.

I have been disappointed like everyone else here over the years, but I still feel like we have a good team this year if the veteran players like Reese, Stevenson, and Leveque can shore things up.

Stevenson, Reese and Leveque need to grow a pair and double their amount of shot attempts per game.  Our success has always been up to the players after a certain point in the season.

The players were the wildcards in 2016-17 and that's what they are now.
