Future South Carolina QB Dakereon Joyner rolls in another playoff win

South Carolina 4-star quarterback commitment Dakereon Joyner threw a couple of long touchdown passes in Fort Dorchester’s 55-13 over Carolina Forest.
Joyner’s scoring strikes went for 78 yards to Justin Williams and 44 yards to D’Angelo Knight. Joyner, who will join the Gamecocks in January, totaled 182 yards of offense in less than 25 offensive snaps on Friday night.

Fort Dorchester is back in action this Friday night when Spring Valley travels to North Charleston. The winner advances to the Lower State finals, to play the winner of Dutch Fork-Summerville.
Spring Valley is led by 4-star linebacker Channing Tindall, who currently lists South Carolina, Georgia and Florida among his finalists. Auburn and Clemson are still receiving interest.
Both Fort Dorchester and Spring Valley played Dutch Fork earlier this season. Dutch Fork, the reigning 5A state champions, lost to Fort Dorchester and beat Spring Valley.
One of those Lower State teams is will play in the State Championship, which is set for Saturday, Dec. 2 at noon in Williams-Brice Stadium. Greenwood, Dorman, Gaffney and Hillcrest are the remaining squads from the Upper State.
