HUGE road SEC win for the Gamecocks!! This is a big RPI and NET-booster, and as I've posted above, there is a sizable stretch of winnable games ahead for the Gamecocks. Lets use this win to start something special, to close out the schedule!!

leveque has to adjust at some point.  id rather him angle his body and try to block those shots rather than attempting to draw charges and falling backwards.  that was haase level defense from him.  hannibal was huge, big win

Good win! I'm starting to believe in our postseason chances again. I can see us going 9-2 in the remaining games for a 21-10 regular season.

We would have won this game easily, by double figures, IF we could make FT and IF we wouldn't foul the opponent so much.   Anyway, it was a great and important win for us.

In Coach Martin's post-game presser, he said that Hannibal was practicing much better in recent days - apparently he was a bit slow in getting what the staff wants the team to do, which is not too surprising for a freshman. This may answer the fans' questions of why Trae hasn't been playing more in past games, with all our PG issues. But from the sounds of things, he's earning his minutes with his practice efforts, so we may start seeing more of Hannibal in games. Which is fine - 11 pts in only 16 minutes is much welcomed contributions.....
