DE Samuel Brooks of Miami announced Saturday he is down to USC and Miami with his decision.
WR Deshon Stoudemire of Stone Mountain, GA was among the visitors at USC Saturday.
USC offered QB Taisun Phommachanah (6-4 186) of Bridgeport, CT. He’s a dual-threat quarterback and also holds offers from Florida State, Indiana, Iowa, Boston College, Purdue, Penn State, Maryland, Michigan, TCU and others..
Per Dutch Fork coach Tom Knotts, ATH Bryce Thompson is not visiting Tennessee this weekend, but he expects the visit to take place next weekend. Thompson has been committed to USC but has not signed because he has to improve his academic position. Marshall also has been recruiting him.
Emerald TE Luke Deal will visit Florida February 24th and Auburn March 3rd. He picked up a Notre Dame offer Friday and one from South Florida Thursday. He also has offers from Purdue, Maryland, Auburn, Rice, Coastal Carolina, NC State and Georgia. He said he’s not hearing much at this point from Clemson or USC.
