The 6-foot-4, 295-pounder is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 40 recruit at his position in the Class of 2017. As a junior, he finished with 86 tackles, including 17 for a loss and seven sacks.
Alabama, LSU and South Carolina all hosted Farrell for visits in June. Last month, he told al.com that his recruitment was “wide open.”
