Gamecocks basketball pick up big-guard commitment for 2024 class​

USC basketball coach Lamont Paris has gained a commitment from 6-6 Lance Piper of New York. He attends the Phelps School in Malvern, PA.

The commitment was reported by basketball scout Ari Rosenfeld. Piper was in the 2025 class, but he is reclassifying for 2024.

Piper gives the Gamecocks two commitments for their 2024 class joining 6-9 Okku Federiko of Helsinki, Finland.
