i was scared after the first 2 games, but theyve picked it up and become scary for the opposition. we got ran thru the first 2 games, but the run defense has been more solid as of late. we lived in the backfield vs kentucky and it showed in the stats. we werent making as many tackles in the backfield vs a&m but we were batting down passes, hitting the qb, and they had multiple false starts.

pass d is up to 24th in the nation in pass efficiency defense after finishing 30th last year. we never finished in the top 30 under muschamp, and were 118th the year before the current staff took over. even during 2009-13 years we only finished in the top 30 twice, 26th in 2009, 2nd in 2011.
