LB Jordan Anthony of Olney, MD and IMG Academy in Florida released a top ten earlier this month of Clemson, Michigan, Maryland, Oklahoma, LSU, Penn State, Georgia, Ohio State, UCLA and Auburn. The list is not in order and was based on communications with the schools and and planned visits.
Though USC is not in his top ten list, Anthony said he also has interest in the Gamecocks and would like to visit there this summer, too.
“I’ve had a great relationship with Coach Hutzler, the linebackers coach, and Coach Thompson, too,” Anthony said. “He was the one recruiting me to Auburn so I had a good relationship with him. I definitely told him I would come down there and check them out.” Thompson was by earlier this month to check on Anthony.
Anthony came to IMG last season as a linebacker but because of a shortage at running back, he played that position in 2015. He is moving back to linebacker full time for this season.
