South Carolina on Thursday offered 4 star running back Elijah Holyfield 5'11" 200lbs, the son of boxing great Evander Holyfield.
Elijah Holyfield, a four-star Class of 2016 prospect, plays at Woodward Academy in the Atlanta area, the same school that produced USC redshirt freshman receiver Terry Googer.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Holyfield as a junior had 265 carries for 1,812 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also caught 24 balls for 390 yards and three touchdowns, adding three more scores on kick returns.
According to 247Sports, it is the Gamecocks' ninth offer extended to a 2016 running back and offer No. 25 overall for Holyfield.
