The game is scheduled for 4:30 pm Saturday and the Gamecocks physical conditioning will play a major part in the outcome of the Georgia game. The Gamecocks physical conditioning didn't look bad during the UNC game. I hope the Gamecocks players will drink plenty of fluids all week leading up to the Georgia game to avoid muscle cramps during the heat of the game. This is the first SEC conference game of the season for the Gamecocks and winning it is very important. The Gamecocks have beaten Georgia 3 times in a row and the only thing better than that record is for the Gamecocks to beat Georgia 4 times in a row!

UNC came in with their hurry up offense knowing that they might wear down our defense in this August heat and humidity. Last year they averaged over 43 points per game, but they left Columbia with only 10 points on the board. I'll have to say our conditioning was excellent.
