If NSD were today, I believe Carolina would land the following prospects:
CB DJ Smith
DE Dexter Wideman
DT Poona Ford
gamecocks are trending big time with these prospects:
OT Damian Prince
CB Wesley Green
There are wildcard prospects emerging like
WR Issiah Ford
WR Nate Brown
I expect more CB names to emerge. Some names to watch: Kendall Randolph, D'Eric Cullver, Deion Hallmon, who is Akeem Auguste's cousin.
Still think UF commit Chris Lammons is a long shot.
Even though Derrell Scott is visiting UF, would not count out the Gamecocks. If he goes elsewhere, I don't think it's a major loss. the Gamecocks will be just fine at RB and will have a great story to sell in 2015.
If Carolina offers P Corbin Daly, he will commit on the spot. UNC is only offering a preferred walk on spot, not a scholarship.
