Gamecocks to host several prospects during spring practice

This weekend represents another major South Carolina recruiting opportunity, as the Gamecocks hold their third practice of the spring.
A trio from Georgia highlight the list of confirmed guests: 2019 5-star wide receiver Jadon Haselwood, who’s committed to the Dawgs, plus Cedar Grove High School (Ellenwood, Ga.) teammates Rashad Cheney, a 2019 4-star defensive tackle once committed to Georgia, and 2020 linebacker Isaiah Ratcliff, who was first offered by the Gamecocks when the group visited in October.
Haselwood is the No. 2 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports composite. Cheney, who’s No. 258, is listed as the 16 defensive tackle. Ratcliff’s offer sheet also includes Michigan and Tennessee.
