Two more runs score off another single, but Reid Morgan's defense has botched two would-be outs this inning. Gamecocks lead Georgia 5-4

Leadoff walk and stolen base from Brady Allen, then George Callil rips a line drive to right field to score him. Gamecocks back up, 6-5
BOTTOM 4 - Will Proctor, a righty, enters to pitch. Brady Allen walks, then steals second. Bold. Jenkins goes down swinging at an off speed pitch, though. Callil up, and whoda thunk that the guy has two errors in a game but comes back with an RBI single. Gets a run back and puts his team on top again. Perez tries to push a bunt to third, but rolls just foul. He goes ahead in the count 2-1, and Smith throws over to first base. Proctor taking his time right now. That's fine - I'm watching the end of the UK/UT game on my phone. But Perez fans at a changeup to even the count, then goes down on strikes. Ball 1 to Eyster. Count goes to 2-2, and he swings over a breaking ball to end the inning. But Carolina is back on top. Carolina leads 6-5

TOP 6 - King singles through the right side off of Hinson to begin the inning. Schunk lines out to right field for the first out, but then Talley bounces a single up the middle to put two on with one out. Line drive single on a 2-2 pitch to left brings home another without a throw. That should probably be it for Hinson. It is, and Dylan Harley enters and gets a generous strike three call to Cable for a full count strikeout. Probably should be loaded with one out but, instead, it's two on with two out for Rogers. He pops out to Olson in foul territory. That's nice work by Harley. Took advantage of some umpire help and made a pitch. But another run gets tacked on. Georgia leads 8-6

BOTTOM 7 - Perez walks to begin the inning off of Wilcox. Eyster pops out in foul territory to right. Perez is cut down at second on a fielders choice to short by Hopkins, who beats the relay. Berryhill up, and lines an elevated pitch to deep right center. Wilcox jumps up and down, thinking he just gave up the lead. But Maxwell catches it on the track. UGA leads 8-6.
