TOP 2 - LB Dantzler, leading the team with a .429 average, goes down on strikes. Breaking ball on the inside part of the plate. Dantzler didn't like the call. Rob Z, as the announcers are calling him, gets Schrock on a breaking ball outside. That's three Ks for the Gamecocks so far in five hitters. Bright up and fouls the first pitch off. He pops a 1-1 pitch up to Opel in right. That's 19 pitches for Rob Z. Gamecocks coming out hacking but no results yet. No score
Beal toasting some Tigers thus far. His fourth K sits down Sommerfeld and it's two outs for Shane Segovia.
