Greenwood receiver Markeyvious Adams remains in touch with Gamecocks

3 star WR Markeyvious Adams 6'4" 186lbs of Greenwood attended camps at USC, Clemson, Georgia and Georgia Southern over the summer. Of those schools, he holds an offer from Georgia Southern. While at the USC camp, Adams spoke with USC assistant G.A. Mangus and said the conversation has him waiting to see what the Gamecocks do.
“Coach Mangus told me I’m the only one he is recruiting from our class (2015) right now,” Adams said. “He said he’ll talk to the other coaches and we’ll see what happens.”
He remains interested in USC but did not name them his leader. “I don’t really have a favorite right now,” he said.
His offers are from Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Appalachian State, NC State, Marshall, James Madison, Charleston Southern and Old Dominion. Adams did not visit some of the other schools that have offered citing scheduling as the reason.
He is unsure of his next trip and plans to announce his commitment during the basketball season.
He named Georgia Southern and Appalachian State as the programs showing the most interest.
