He said if we were losing like we used to (1-21), hey, it's OK to leave at halftime. But as long as we are winning we owe it to the team to stay. He said looked like the only ones who were leaving the game were the students.
He was right stern, and deservedly so. I cannot believe our students are so spoiled that leaving at halftime has become cool. That's something they do or did at Vanderbilt.
If they leave at halftime Saturday, I hope the stadium delivers them a cascade of loud, roaring boos.
