Henry says he will give USC a look
6-9 PF Demetrius Henry of Oakland Park, FL could have signed with a major program this month but decided to enroll at prep school this August to improve his overall skills. And that’s a break for new USC coach Frank Martin. Kansas State was one of the schools Henry was strongly considering. Now that he is delaying his decision, and Martin is at USC, the Gamecocks become a factor. “South Carolina has been in touch with my coach and told him they will continue to recruit me,” Henry said. “I will have interest because of Frank Martin, he’s a great coach. Kansas State was one of my top five schools. I like his system of play.” Henry also has offers from Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, South Florida, George Mason, UTEP and Murray State. He will take some visits over the summer and will decide sometime in the fall. Henry will attend Faith Baptist School in Bradenton, FL next school year. This past season he averaged 19 points and 13 rebounds per game. link: http://www.goupstate...9851/-1/PSPORTS
