Holston looking forward to return visit to USC

USC, Duke and Virginia Tech remain the top three with RB Jalen Holston of Stockbridge, GA and the Gamecocks have him lined up for another visit July 22nd. That visit will be critical to the Gamecocks’ chances as they would like to bring in a second running back commitment for this class.
Holston was at USC for a camp last month and has also been to NC State, Duke, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn. He’s also going to visit North Carolina July 16th.
Holston hears regularly from Gamecock running backs coach Bobby Bentley and area recruiter Bryan McClendon with their most recent conversation taking place last week.
“They want me to really come up on their campus so I can see the campus for myself,” Holston said. “Actually they want me to commit. It could be possible. I feel like they can use me a lot.”
Holston said he’s looking at making his decision in August. Some other schools he’s hearing from are Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Louisville and West Virginia. He said the Mountaineers also are on him pretty hard.
