Clemson vetoes moving South Carolina football game to Black Friday

South Carolina football and the rival Clemson Tigers could have played on Black Friday this season, but Clemson vetoed the move.

Our rivalry would have gotten so much more recognition if played on that Friday night on ESPN. It would not bother me to go to a Friday night game vs. Saturday.
Right now, in the start time projection, that is the only game that is TBA. We could of been guaranteed a night game. Now, thanks to Clemson, we may just have a noon time game.

Once upon a time they did play on Thursday at the State Fair in a makeshift stadium until 1959.
