Freshman Kyle Harris will transfer. Harris posted on his Facebook account that he is transferring and I have confirmed it through a source within the program.
Harris, who has practiced at both offensive guard and center, appeared in four games this season for the Gamecocks (10-2) with one start. He made his first start against Florida but was pulled early in the first quarter.
The week after the game, offensive line coach Shawn Elliott was blunt in his assessment of Harris saying, “He didn’t look good; didn’t look good at all. You won’t see him back out there.”
