Hope I am not expecting too much this season but man I am ready for some Gamecock football. Been 6 years since I felt this way. GO COCKS!!

WR- Jaheim Bell who could be Deebo 2.0, Josh Vann a proven 600-yard receiver in the SEC with Wells and Rucker potentially better
RB- Marshawn Lloyd a 5* RB and one of the highest-rated players we’ve ever landed finally back to 100%
QB- Spencer Rattler a former Heisman candidate and #1 QB
TE- Austin Stogner former all-Big 12 TE who is a top 5 TE in the nation
DL- Multiple 5* in Burch and Pickens, the former sack leader in Strachan and Alex Huntley a big-time DT who flashed in a bowl game
OL- filled with loads of experience and a 2nd year in the system
DB- maybe the best CB duo in Smith and Rush, Smith possibly being the #1 drafter Corner and rush having a great year last year. Bringing in a great Senior Safety from CMU and Roderick who will be a senior with a hopefully best year under him.
LB- Senior leadership with Johnson and Greene and two very talented backups in Blanton and Kaba

If we get past Arkansas look out guys in for a good ride!!!.._)(

Yeah, we haven't performed well away from Williams Brice for a while. It would be a big step forward if we could be consistently competitive at away games.

My question is always how do we stack up to our competition?

Can we compete with Georgia, TAMU, Kentucky, Clemson, and Tennessee?

Can we go on the raod and fare well against Arkansas and Florida?

This why I think 6-6 is a likely record this season. However, we might be a fun offense to watch if the oline can block this year and the playcalling improves over what we saw last year.

I am glad the program is doign the costco thing to try to get more people to the games this year. The home field atmosphere will be a huge factor for us.

I just wonder what they're gonna do when we roll up into the Blue Grass State sitting at 5-0 and walk out with bowl eligibility.

I would go out of my mind if that happened. I don’t think we will get past Georgia, but never say never. I do think we will be undefeated when we play Georgia.
If we can be undefeated going into the Georgia game, and play them tough, we will definitely start turning heads and make some other teams very uncomfortable.

Lot of hype for the O line. Let hope they are for real and we can put up points

For the love of everything good please let us beat TAMU. I am with GHouse. I think 6-6 is where we may land there is still a lot of development that needs to take place on this team, but am hopeful we steal a game here and there. I definitely like the momentum Beamer has built off of last season.

I don't see us losing to Arky, with everything they have lost. I don't see us beating Georgia or Clemson, yet, but I sure would love to see it. TAMU is a team that has never impressed me, and losing to them ticks me off every time. If we lose to KY again, I'll be on suicide watch. I honestly feel that all the games but Georgia, Clemson and maybe TAMU, are absolutely winnable. If the ball bounced our way every time, I really think we can be 9-3 or better. However, if it doesn't 6-6 is a possibility.

Yes, I get it could well be. Recruiting a power offense line and possibly the same thing on defense. If the two happen will be the first time ever getting at one time some really big and talented guys for both sides. Something that should have been done years ago starts in the trenches. That also adds to my excrement. Beamer gets it and I am 100% behind him for what he is doing and his loyalty and love for the program.
