Marshall was at #22 in the AP when Rice beat them last week and UAB beat Rice.

UAB kept it close with Louisiana, only losing 24-20.

The current AP Post-season Top 25:

#26 Oklahoma St.

#27 Army

#30 Marshall

#33 UAB

I seem to remember UAB's program on the verge on extinction from a funding standpoint several years ago and thought to myself "good on them" that when they beat Marshall.

They will beat us like App. St. did last year.  You can't preach about "commitment" and still want to look pretty at Oklahoma for a few more weeks while the team gets embarrassed by a C-USA team in a bowl game.  You have to think more guys will leave if that happens.

I hope the above Twitter post means Beamer is going to coach the bowl game on the sideline as he damn well should.
