He's the younger brother of former Gamecock target John Butler Jr (chose Florida State). Jordan is rated slightly higher than John and could wind up being a top-50 recruit. It will be interesting to see how Coach Paris does with this recruitment. The mother being a former Gamecock wbb player could be something Paris leans on, but that didn't seem to have much effect for John's recruitment.
