4 star RB David Williams 6'1" 190lbs of Philadelphia has offers from USC, NC State, Pitt, Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan State, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Notre Dame, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Boston College and Purdue among others. He has over 25 in all. Williams met with G.A. Mangus Saturday to discuss his impending visit down South. "Coach just told me how they're looking forward to getting me on campus and they're going to make sure I understand how miuch they want me before I leave," Williams said. "They have (Marcus) Lattimore and they like to run the ball. That means a lot to me." It will be his first trip to Columbia. WIlliams will stop by Tennessee and NC State on that trip. He has already visited many of the schools in his area as well as Wisconsin and is planning a trip out West. He has not narrowed his list but is showing interest in the Gamecocks.
