Kentucky will be a measuring stick for me

Gamecocks 1-2 after playing the two best out of the three teams on the schedule. UGA is clearly the best team in the country. TN, and KY, are good teams A&M is not as good as expected, Clem, ARK, and UGA are the best of the bunch. Let's take a breath and think.

Will or should Satt be replaced? Hold off to the end of the season and if that is the case go after the best OC you can get. but for me, the KY will be a good measuring stick, Gamecocks should pile up points THIS WEEKEND. But, let's see how the next few games go.

I think the Gamecocks need to win all three of the next games and show major progress. This to me is NOT the best time to fire someone. Changes needed wait, until the season ends.

Agree feathered. Don’t see what we can take away improvement wise from either game. Now a loss would be an entirely different story. Kentucky will be the measuring stick. After them the only team that you could say should be a win is Vandy. Lingering or more injuries, lack of improvement could turn this ugly. That said I’m going to look at it through my garnet glasses and hope for the best. 7 wins and a bowl win would keep the momentum going and should result in a good recruiting class/portal grabs.
