Lack of contact leads Douglas to cut Clemson from top group

Clemson was one of the eight schools OL Eric Douglas of Charlotte listed as one of his favorites earlier this month. But
Douglas said Wednesday that because he hasn’t heard from the Tigers in several weeks he has removed them from that list and replaced them with Missouri and Cal.
USC, Penn State, Florida, Maryland, NC State and North Carolina remain on the list.
Douglas has not taken any recent visits and is just starting his spring football workouts. He is going to Maryland March 26th and to Penn State March 28th during his spring break. He has no other visits planned and is not sure which spring game he’ll attend April 9th.
Douglas said he continues to hear daily from USC with Will Muschamp, Shawn Elliott and Bobby Bentley keeping the contact hot.
“It’s pretty much the same thing, telling me they need me,” Douglas said.
He’s not sure when he’ll make his decision.
“Being the right feeling, where I can fit socially, academically and football wise,”Douglas said adding that he has no favorite.
