I'm still not entirely familiar with our new 2 deep at LB when it comes to who they are, where they came from, their overall sizes and skill. But, I'm interested to hear some of yalls opinions on the young fellas apart from the phrase "they're younger, but more athletic" because that's pretty much the only part I know.

Also, with the combination of a better set of receivers ( I know we're losing Ace, but overall our receivers should be better), less of a focus on using the zone read all the time, and our RBs and TE's. Just how much better do you think our O will be this year? I'm thinking it's going to take a significant step forward

overall the group of LB's is more athletic and versatile but they lack game experience. I think the key is getting TJ Gurley back at safety because that opens up the possibility of playing Jordan Diggs at his natural position of spur or Larenz Bryant could hopefully help out there or weakside linebacker. I really like what I have heard about Kaiwan Lewis and TJ Holloman. I don't really know a lot about M. Roberts and C. Cooper, besides Roberts is a headhunter and Cooper is coming off an ACL injury. Hopfully, they can provide depth and take some meaningful snaps. I think the linebackers will have their growing pains, but having a dominant defensive line will help them out a lot.

Losing Ace hurt, but his skills as a return guy was better than his skills at receiver. Not saying Ace was not a good wr but he was a threat to take it to the house everytime he touched it as a return guy. We really need Roland to step up this year and be our number one wr. If we can get some production from S. Jeffrey or K. Smith at the wr position we will be a lot better this year on offense. The player I really like and he is not a homerun threat by no means but I really like Nick Jones. The kid seems to catch everything thrown his way and he runs really good routes. Hopefully this year Jones will see the field a lot more.

Our tight ends to me could be the best duo in all of college football. Both have good size, speed, and create mismatches whomever sticks them. Overrall I think the offense will be more productive this year but we have to get some guys to step up at the wr position this yr.
