I assume that is to fill Connor’s vacancy, or has anyone heard he will be taking a different position?

My perception is this position will be fairly fluid over time since it's not a regular coaching position.
I still remember Justin Stepp's comments during his initial presser about how he had to keep knocking on doors just like Shane did to get a start in coaching somewhere, anywhere.
Nothing wrong with giving alumni players a chance to get a foot in the coaching door.
