If Ward does a great job these next few years... he should be next in line. He's a better recruiter, and has proven more with his group than Elliot has with his. He's ACTUALLY a coordinator. He's got tons more D1 experience. He's learned from Mr. Beamer, Mr. Foster, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Spurrier. etc. He has shown leadership by hiring studs like Botkin, Brown, and hopefully Adams. He's a "player's coach". Kids love the guy. Elliot has done nothing that warrants leaping over Mr. Ward in the HBC race.

Ward is a great coach, no doubt. He started out with WAY more talent than Elliot did.
I have a feeling that Elliot is being groomed as the next HC. Elliot has the OC title, and I don't know why more people don't know that. Him and Jr are co-OC's
