I just watch this kid yesterday in the Virginia 4A state championship game because we played his team. This kid is legit. He may be listed right now as a 3 star but I’m telling you this kid is going to fly up the rankings and be a four star by this time next year.
He is listed at 5’11 but stood next to him in pregame and I think he is taller than that. He is a two way player who had an amazing 1 handed pick and then 1 hand TD catch. Rushed for over 2000 yards this season as well. If he played in spread system instead of split back veer, he’d be a bigger name.
Only negative that may be out there is what is his top end speed. He is fast but not likely a 4.4 guy; probably 4.55-4.6 speed. If RB didn’t work, he could play LB or SS for sure. He looks like a full grown man at 16 years of age.
According to rivals profile he has 15 offers already with Clemson and USC being 2 of them. I’d like to see USC steal him another kid like this out of Virginia.
