Martin knows one of USC's hoop targets
New USC basketball coach Frank Martin has to work quickly to familiarize himself with some of the players USC's former staff was recruiting. But one of those prospects he knows well. 6-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA took official visits to USC and Kansas State and is now on hold with his dealings at both schools. He remains interested in both. Jeter got to know Martin a little bit during his recruitment by the Wildcats. “He seems like a real genuine guy,” Jeter said. “He reminds me of my dad (an assistant coach). He's aggressive but he cares about his players. He yells a lot, but he defends his players.” Jeter also has visited Wisconsin and said he will set a visit with Florida State. He also remains interested in Penn State and Seton Hall. Jeter said he's not close on making a decision.
