WE CANNOT LOSE TO VANDY!!

At this point in the season, unless you lose 3 in a row or win against a Q1 team, you're not likely to make huge moves up or down.  We will likely be rather stable for the rest of the season.  If we get wins v Miss. State on the road or pull of the upset of LSU at home, perhaps we jump significantly again.

Absolute insane that Auburn with only 2 losses is not in the top 10 or even top 5, if Kentucky had just 2 losses does anyone think they would not be top 5? The bias is amazing and I'm no fan of auburn at all, to see the press giving Michigan and ohio st votes in the AP and USA today top 25 proves this point. Marquette beats the #19 team while being ranked #18 and they move up but auburn beats #15 ranked lsu and they don't move, Dayton with 2 losses and their best wins are Georgia and vetch is ranked 6th but a 2 loss auburn team is #11 in the voted polls and #15 in the NET but #2 in the RPI, what a joke!

Iowa st and Oklahoma st are ranked ahead of us, uncheat is ranked ahead of ole miss with a losing record, just insane! Rant over

We moved up 12 spots to 65 NET this morning, after our win at UGA.......
I was shocked to see that.  But when I thought about it, I realized it made complete sense... Since we've had two consecutive 15+ point victories, our scoring margin has improved significantly.  We also have 5 of our last 8 games with a 10+ point victory (NET has a 10 point cap), so our NET rankings have seen an uptick there.  The other big benefit is the change to our offensive/defensive efficiency numbers.  Between the efficiency and our victory totals, we're trending in the right direction with every part of our game.

Here are the NET rankings as of today.

Here are the NET rankings as of today.  We are at 63.  Need to regroup for the UGA game, win out and make a dent in the SECT and go from there.

How are we a 63? That seems too high for a team that lost to Stetson and Boston

I agree, but it's still at 63 today as well.
See my quote (from earlier in the thread) above.

LSU overplayed to stop a 2-game skid.

We have to do the same thing going into the UGA game tomorrow.

After a 0-2 week the Gamecocks remain in contention. Four games are left in the regular season before SEC Tournament play begins. South Carolina is trying to get into the NCAA Tournament and will have to look better than fellow SEC bubble teams Alabama and Miss. St to get a bid. The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs have to take the court against the Gamecocks, two of their four remaining regular season opponents.

Feb. 26 vs. Georgia - 90 (Quad 3)
Feb. 29 at Alabama - 40 (Quad 1)
March 3 vs. Miss. State - 57 (Quad 2)
March 7 at Vanderbilt - 145 (Quad 3)

Carolina owns a NET Ranking of 63 with quadrant one wins over No. 8 Kentucky (21), Virginia (51), Arkansas (45) and Clemson (73). Stetson (300) is the program's worst lost, holding quad four distinction.

Basically rehashing AA's point above.

We went up to 64.  Here are the rest.  We really need wins against Bama and MSST.
