Men's basketball injury report vs Clemson
Nov. 10, 2022

Tipoff between South Carolina and Clemson is set for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on SEC Network+. South Carolina and Clemson will tip off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on SEC Network+. South Carolina leads the overall series 91-80.

Guard Meechie Johnson started the game against South Carolina State on Tuesday night but would be in and out of the lineup after he rolled his ankle on a fast break. Johnson also had some cramping issues in the second half.

Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk update. In a press conference on Thursday afternoon, head coach Lamont Paris provided an update on Bosmans-Verdonk's status for Friday's matchup with the Tigers. "Benjamin got some reps with us live today, so that was good to see," Paris said. "Looks like he will be ready for the game in some capacity. We will see what that looks like on the game day. He looks to be available in some capacity tomorrow so that is good.

Good that the team is getting a little bit healthier. Johnson's ankle roll didn't keep him from going back into the game - in those situations you want to keep playing on the ankle, to keep it from swelling up further limiting its use. Probably just tape it up tight, and tie the shoelaces tighter. It should be something where 3 days of rest and rehab should have it fine. Plenty of hydration through the week to deal with the cramping, and he should be fine for the game.....

We definitely need Meechie out there. GG is probably our best player, but I think Meechie is the team's most important player, if that makes sense.
