To me, the best player I have seen in NCAA Basketball this season is Michael Qualls. The guy is a supreme athlete, so much that he could almost make Michael Jordan look wooden. If I owned an NBA frachise and had the first pick in the draft, Qualls is the guy I would take. I've never seen a college basketball player with so much ability who expends so much energy on both ends of the court. I don't even notice his teammate, SEC Player of the Year Portis, when I watch Arkansas. I can't stop watching Qualls who is like a heat seeking missile always trying to find a steal, a block, a rebound, an open teammate, a path to the basket - and if none of those are open he simply leaps into the airspace only he occupies and he creates an opportunity.
Hope he goes pro now so we don't have to deal with him next season.
