Aaron Abram
USC continued its camps on Sunday with one for specialists…kickers, punters, return guys, etc. And catching the eye of special teams coach Coleman Hutzler and head coach Will Muschamp was ATH Aaron Abram (5-9 180) of Hattiesburg, MS. He must have impressed the coaches because he left Columbia with his first offer.
”They said that I have impressive footwork, a lateral and vertical quickness, and that they can see me being dangerous in the return game,” Abram said. “They said that I can be used similar to the ways Georgia uses Isaiah McKenzie. I’m very blessed and fortunate to receive an offer from such a prestigious college.”
Abram also is drawing interest from Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, Purdue and Louisville.
“Hopefully it (the offer) gets the ball rolling for a couple of others I have interest in,” he said. “I’m overwhelmed right now (by USC offer). Big shoes to fulfill.”
Last season Abram had 1069 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns.
