Monday is announcement day for longtime USC quarterback target Dylan Lonergan of Snellville, GA. Should the Gamecocks not land Lonergan, their 2024 commitment Dante Reno has the option of reclassifying to 2023 and coming in with that class. If that were to happen, the Gamecocks likely would increase their recruiting efforts for 2024 Jayden Bradford of Chapin and IMG Academy. He has an offer from the Gamecocks.

He will probably be in the transfer portal in 2 years. Bama is going to have too much competition for all their qbs to play. After Bryce Young, they have a 4 star 2021 qb, a 5 star 2022 qb, and a higher rated 4 star in Lonergan's 2023 class.
