OL TJ Moore of Charlotte has USC and Tennessee as his top two schools and Wednesday night or Thursday afternoon he might commit to one of them. However, if Alabama offers by Wednesday afternoon, that changes the plan.
“Alabama’s summer camp, I did really good and Nick Saban called me into his office and I talked to him for like twenty minutes,” Moore said. “We had a good conversation and he said he’d let me know by this week. But I feel like if they wanted me they would have offered me on the spot. But they didn’t offer a lot of people that day. I know Alabama is a great school all around from academics to on the field but I still have to do research on how many O-linemen they’ve got.”
Moore said if he gets the Alabama offer it will force him to delay his decision until another date. If he doesn’t get the offer then he plans to move forward with either the Gamecocks or Vols.
“It’s really even right now,” he said about USC and UT. “I talked to Coach Elliott today (Monday). He’s at the beach right now. He called me and we had a good conversation. I’m probably going to call the Tennessee coach tomorrow and make sure I’ve got a full scholarship. It’s a really hard decision. They are both great schools with great academics, great coaches and great players. It’s going to be a hard decision.”
The Gamecocks have a commitment from Moore’s teammate OL Eric Douglas.
