More recruits schedule October visits to South CarolinaSept. 28, 2016
Let’s kick itEarlier this season, SEC Country introduced its readers to B.T. Potter, a 2018 kicker from South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, S.C. Since then, he’s heard from a pair of Gamecocks assistant coaches.
“I’ve been talking to coach (Bobby) Bentley and coach (Coleman) Hutzler and I’ll be visiting when USC plays Georgia,” Potter said. “They told me they are planning on offering a kicker in my class.”
Potter kicked in front of Muschamp and Bentley a couple of weeks ago when South Pointe hosted Mallard Creek. Clemson assistant coach Jeff Scott was there, too. Potter visited the Tigers earlier this season.

More A&M game guestsA few notable recruits have already confirmed their plans to visit South Carolina for Saturday’s game against Texas A&M. SEC Country has confirmed a handful of others, including 2017 OL commitment Eric Douglas, who attends Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, N.C.
Greenwood wide receiver Sam Pinckney will return to South Carolina for the Texas A&M game. The 2018 prospect from Greenwood (S.C.) High School was offered by the Gamecocks earlier this year.
Brayden Hawkins is also expected at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday. The 2018 quarterback from Dillon (S.C.) High School visited Marshall last weekend for the Louisville game.
Hawkins has completed 52 of 76 passes for 977 yards with 10 touchdowns and 2 interceptions during his first season at Dillon.

When South Carolina plays UMass, Jordyn Adams will be back at South Carolina. The 2018 3-star athlete from Blythewood (S.C.) High School attended the ECU game in support of his father, former Gamecocks defensive line coach Deke Adams, who’s now an assistant for the Pirates.
Top 3 for TerrellSouth Carolina continues to occupy a spot in the lead group for 3-star wide receiver Chad Terrell, who also lists Oregon and N.C. State among his favorites.
During the first weekend of the season, Terrell took an official visit to Oregon. Since then, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect from North Paulding High School (Dallas, Ga.) hasn’t taken any other visits.
For now, the No. 60 ranked wide receiver in the country has no other visits planned.
