Perhaps we can stop all the "We're already so much better than last year!" talk. We heard the same crap through Horn's first few games "What an exciting brand of basketball! So much better than Odom!". We even heard the same stuff with Odom, "Wow, so much better than those terrible Fogler teams." It's the natural reaction of fans to cherry pick certain things about a basketball team to reflect positively on the new coach and negatively on the old coach. I don't think it's fair to Martin or to the team to suddenly start claiming we're infinitely better than last year. IMO we're about the same as last year, probably even worse. Honestly I'd be surprised if we can do better than 3-15 in SEC play. I think the Martin hire was fantastic and am very excited about the future of Carolina basketball, but I think it will be 3-4 years from now until we can see tangible results.
