First off I watched with an untrained eye most of the time. It was absolutely freezing out there and as a result the practice didn't seem to have as much intensity as a normal spring practice. Rest of my thoughts:

-I spent the majority of the time at Te beginning watching Botkin coach his guys up. He was really teaching and encouraging the guys. TJ Holloman and Rainey look the part for sure. Rainey also had a pick in the 7 vs 7

-Marvin Lewis, HC of the Bengals, was there

-Cody Waldrop is physical! He is also very brave. He had no protection against the cold and the wind. He was the ONLY guy out there with short sleeves and shorts on. The guy was born out of the womb an O Lineman

-Shaq Roland seemed to be having fun out there. Got open but didn't have a tone of catches. Either the throw was off or he dropped a very tough pass. He had a few good catches.

-Shamier looked good running routes and does look very similar catching the ball to Alshon despite him being shorter.

-The QBs had a decent day from what I could tell. DT is really good at letting the ball go quickly. The weather today did make it harder to hold on to the ball for the WRs. In the team work it wasn't that extensive. It was a pretty quick practice. Connor Mitch can really throw the ball as he made some good throws today

-Corey Robinson looked to do a good enough job against Clowney at times. It's tough to judge though when they are just in shells.

-Brandon Wilds physically looks ready for a big year. He simply is impressive looking and I keep trying to think of who he reminds me of.
