Nasirildeen receivers Army jersey
Nov. 10, 2016
Four-star South Carolina commitment Hamsah Nasirildeen received his U.S. Army All-American jersey on Wednesday afternoon at Concord (N.C.) High School.
Gamecocks wide receiver commitment OrTre Smith has also been selected to play in the game. However, the 4-star wide receiver is recovering from ankle surgery, so he won’t be able to play in the annual all-star game.
Nasirildeen recently took an official to Florida State, so his continued interest in the Noles will continue to raise eyebrows. However, distance from home could prove to be too much to overcome. Smith remains locked in on his commitment.
Under Armour targets
While Nasirildeen and Smith are the only South Carolina commitments/targets in the Army Bowl, a few more have been selected for the Under Armour All-American Game.
Jamyest Williams and his teammate from Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga., Deangelo Gibbs, will head down to Florida in December, to play in the Under Armour Game.
Three-star defensive lineman Aaron Sterling, who’s out of Tucker (Ga.) High School, is also participating in the game.
