We will be covering all of the activities of National Signing Day 2014 for USC, Clemson and players around the state all day. Check back here throughout the day for news updates.
Jae'lon Oglesby

RB Jae'lon Oglesby (5-10 170) of Daniel has signed with Clemson. He committed to the Tigers last June over an offer from Tennessee. The Shrine Bowler rushed for 2174 yards and 21 touchdowns last season. "He's explosive and has real good vision," said his coach Randy Robinson. "He does a good job of reading things. He sees cuts the other guys don't see."
Kalan Ritchie

TE Kalan Ritchie of Goose Creek has signed with USC. Ritchie was one of the first commitments for the class pledging last April. "He's a hell of a tight end as a blocker," said Goose Creek coach Chuck Reedy. "He's trying to develop as a receiver." "I love their offense," Ritchie said of the Gamecocks. "I love how they got some of their younger tight end in." Richie was a Shrine Bowl selection and played in the Offense-Defense Game as well.
Al Harris Jr.

DB Al Harris Jr. (5-11 170) of Fort Lauderdale, FL has signed with USC. Harris committed to the Gamecocks last July over Florida State, Wisconsin, NC State, Louisville and Arkansas. "I like what they have to offer football wise and academically," Harris said. "I was really comfortable with the coaches." The son of former NFL star cornerback Al Harris also plays corner.
DJ Smith

DB DJ Smith (6-0 185) of Marietta, GA has signed with USC. Smith committed to the Gamecocks in January over Tennessee. "He's a very good cover corner with great hips and is physical enough to play safety," said is coach Rocky Hidalgo. "I think he's got a chance to be an exceptional player." Last season Smith had 77 tackles with 2 interceptions.
Dante Sawyer

DE Dante Sawyer (6-3 250) of Suwanee, GA has signed with USC. Sawyer committed to the Gamecocks in December over Georgia, Missouri and Auburn. "Being at South Carolina was just a great feeling," Sawyer said. "That's where God wants me to be and I follow what God says." Last season Sawyer had 60 tackles with 8 for losses and 3 sacks.
Trevion Thompson

WR Trevion Thompson (6-3 185) of Durham, NC has signed with Clemson. The Shrine Bowler committed to the Tigers January 19th following is official visit. He picked the Tigers over Ohio State, NC State, North Carolina and West Virginia. Last season Thompson had 57 catches for 987 yards and 14 touchdowns. "He has the ability to get open," said is coach Antonio King. "He's hard to cover despite not having blazing speed."
Alex Spence

PK Alex Spence (6-2 180) of West Florence was announced by Clemson this morning as one of their signees. Yesterday Spence was quoted as saying he would not be signing and would walk on in 2014 with the chance for a scholarship in 2015. Spence was 15-18 on field goals with a long of 47 yards last season and was picked for the Shrine Bowl.
Kevin Crosby Jr.

TE Kevin Crosby Jr. (6-2 240) of Bamberg-Ehrhardt has signed with USC. Crosby committed to the Gamecocks last June over Clemson, Alabama, North Carolina and Florida. "They did a great job of recruiting him and staying on top of him," said Crosby's coach and father Kevin Crosby Sr. This season the Shrine Bowler had 36 catches for 767 yards and 10 touchdowns. On defense Crosby had 62 tackles with 12 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.
Adam Choice

RB Adam Choice (5-9 206) of Thomasville, GA has signed with Clemson. Choice committed to the Tigers last May over Auburn, Georgia Tech and Texas. "When I went to the spring game, I could tell they were one big family," Choice said. "The whole city is behind Clemson and their athletics program."
Justin Falcinelli

OL Justin Falcinelli (6-5 300) of Middletown, MD has signed with Clemson. Falcinelli committed to the Tigers last July over Maryland and Stanford. "He's a country boy and he felt like home," said his coach Kevin Lynott. "He's like a big teddy bear but on the field he's down and aggressive." He also played on the defensive line. Falcinelli also had offers from Pittsburgh, Virginia, Rutgers, Penn State and Wake Forest.
Taylor Hearn

Shrine Bowl OL Taylor Hearn (6-5 320) of Williston-Elko has signed with Clemson. He committed to the Tigers last February and also had an offer from North Carolina at the time. "Just the vibe I got from the coaches," Hearn said. "I can tell they care about me and want me to do great things." Hearn also drew interest from USC, LSU, NC State and Mississippi State.
Goose Creek pair to sign

Goose Creek WR Jordan Barnes will sign today with Tusculum. He played in the Touchstone Energy North-South Game. And Goose Creek fullback Evan McField will sign with The Citadel.
Milan Richard

TE Milan Richard (6-3 227) of Savannah has signed with Clemson. Richard committed to the Tigers last May. He's the nephew of former Georgia great Herschel Walker. "He's got the whole package," said is coach Mark Stroud. "He has size, speed and explosiveness." He picked Clemson over USC, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
Korie Rogers

LB Korie Rogers (6-2 210) of Buford, GA has signed with Clemson. Rogers committed to the Tigers last May over Georgia and Tennessee. He played in the Army All American Game.
Darrius Caldwell

According to Pearl River JC, MS coach William Jones, DE Darrius Caldwell is expected to sign today with Arizona State. Caldwell had planned to sign with USC until the SEC junior college transfer rule for non-qualifiers forced the Gamecocks to drop him.
