Nick Muse

I listened to Nick's comments, his thought process seemed fine to me. He did close to the end of his time make a bold statement. Without prompting or any encouragement he said "I would take a bullet for coach"! That's what he means to me.

They're kids sticking up for their coach.  I get it, and don't begrudge them for it.

I really wonder what the disconnect is between these guys be willing to "take a bullet for coach" and just straight up not performing on the field. If a coach is that able to motivate his players, you'd think it would translate into W's.

I've said this here before but I've heard from several sources that Muschamp's schemes are just too complicated.  Players are having to think too much in split second timing instead of reacting.  I've heard it referred to as "paralysis from analysis."  If you've ever heard Muschamp talk football I could see where that might be part of the problem.

A different perspective from a former player who should know what he's talking about.
