3 star OL Zach Giella  6'7" 300lbs of Augusta will visit USC next Tuesday. Giella, who already has an offer from USC, is quickly building his offer sheet. Ole Miss offered Giella Monday night and today (Tuesday) Missouri and Duke followed suit. His upcoming visit to USC will not be his first. “I’ve been to a camp there and also on a visit,” he said. “I’ve never been to a game but I really like what they’ve got going on.” His visit will be an opportunity for he and his parents to sit down with the coaching staff. His interest in USC, however, is nothing new. “I grew up loving the Gamecocks,” Giella said. “They’ve always had a dominant offensive line and a good running game. They’re one of the top teams in the SEC so I am very interested in them. Coach (Shawn) Elliott told me he wants me to come in and anchor the offensive line at the tackle position.” He visited Kentucky last week and heads to Duke Saturday. With growing interest in his services, Giella may take more time in making a decision. “I was thinking I might commit in early or late spring but with all of the new offers, I may wait until after the season.” His offers are from USC, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Duke and Missouri with interest from Virginia, Stanford and Vanderbilt. He does not have any favorites.

With that size, one wonders why he is a 3-star.

I'm sure the recruiting gurus could tell you, or maybe it's deliberate because of the schools interested..
