Today marks the beginning of a new season. I was thrilled with what the Braves accomplished last year, but don’t think they upgraded like the Phillies did in the offseason, and don’t know if they can keep up. Hopefully, they can hang close until the trade deadline, and then acquire some talent for a playoff run. 

 
11 games in, and the Braves have made a great turn around since the first series with the Phillies.  1/2 a game behind Philadelphia in the standings. 

 
Important stretch of games coming up. The next 14 games are against the Nationals and Phillies. Great opportunity to effectively clinch the division. 

 
Absolutely!

I almost feel badly for the Nationals.  They have been playing incredible ball, and have lost a game during that stretch.

i hope the Braves can continue this magic in the post season.  It’s so fun to watch. 

 
I don't feel sorry for the Nats at all lol. I agree with you though, last year and this year have been 2 of the funnest Braves teams I've watched.

 
Fried pitched a gem tonight. 1 hit over 7 innings and looked like he still had some in the tank. Acuña is inching closer and closer to a 40-40 season.

 
I'm enjoying the ride, but I hope we can do something in the playoffs.  Can we figure out a way to get past the Dodgers?

The last series with the Dodgers, the Braves took 2 of 3.  I really think they can beat anyone, but more importantly, I think they believe they can beat anyone. 

 
got an outside shot at 100 wins - need to win 11 of last 19 - coincidentally 11 is also magic number to clinch division as of this post
