3 star OL Justin Martinez (6-3 275) of Port St. Lucie, FL visited USC last weekend and left with the Gamecocks atop his list. "I visited Friday and went to the spring game Saturday," Martinez said. "I loved it there. Their facilities are top-noth but the thing I loves the most was the fan base. They had 34,000 for a spring game." Martinez has offers from Florida International and Western Kentucky with interest from USC, Tennessee, Miami, South Florida, Central Florida, Arkansas, Rutgers and UCLA. He feels confident the Gamecocks will offer. "I don'[t want to sound cocky but I think I have a good chance with them," he said. "I just had knee surgery and they told me they want to see me play before they offer. They want to make sure I haven't lost my quickness." He will make a return trip to Columbia over the summer. Martinez will visit Wake Forest, North Carolina, Miami and possibly UMass as well. "The only camps I'll go to are South Carolina and Wake Forest," he added.
